Speeding

Speeding is probably the most frequently charged ticket our firm sees every day. The points for speeding depend on whether it is charged under the state law (3 points) or under a county or municipal ordinance (2 points). Regardless of the points involved, they are easy to fix and should be fixed to avoid higher insurance premiums. Our firm has the ticket “amended” (reduced to a non-moving violation carrying no points) and a fine and court costs are assessed by the prosecutor. In almost all cases, your appearance in court is not necessary and the process is easy.
